Release Event for Speakeasy Betrayal Ale

Speakeasy will release their new India Red Ale here at Public House on Tuesday, June 8th at 5pm! Production manager/head brewer Matt Walsh and his team of brewers will be on hand to talk beer!

Betrayal Ale is a hop forward strong red ale. The 21° Plato mash includes a
variety of caramel, kilned, and light roast malts to create a rich malt body to
carry the hops. Over four pounds per barrel of Summit, Centennial, Chinook
and Amarillo hops make this 121 IBU, triple dry hopped monster every thing
the hophead wants.

Color: Mahogany red, with a light cream head.

Aroma: Huge citrus hop aroma with a light backing of caramel malts.

Taste: Intensely bitter with strong citric hops that cling to the roof of your
mouth as warming alcohol and subtle malt sweetness cover the base of the
tongue.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied with a drying hop astringency and light alcoholic
heat.
