We’re excited to announce that starting Thursday, March 23, we will begin serving the Impossible Burger. In development since 2011, the Impossible Burger is the world's only burger that looks, handles, smells, cooks and tastes like ground beef from cows — but is made entirely from plants, with a much smaller environmental footprint than meat from animals!
Our chef-partner Traci Des Jardins and our Executive Chef Jorge Lumbreras will serve it with our signature “smoke and spice” sauce, caramelized onions, and provolone cheese on a sesame bun with house-made potato chips.
“We’re debuting the Impossible Burger just in time for baseball season — it’s going to be
a big hit and help reduce Public House’s environmental footprint even further,” said Traci, who also serves the burger at Jardinière, her flagship restaurant in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley, where demand for the burger has been off the charts.
